Starfish Entertainment is an independent music and artist development company based out of Toronto, ON Canada. Established in 1995, Starfish is one of Canada’s premiere artist management firms. Starfish boasts internationally recognized, award-winning talent including multi-platinum selling artists Blue Rodeo and Jim Cuddy, Juno Award winning artists The Sadies, Elliott BROOD and Skydiggers and Gemini Award winning artist Suzie Ungerleider. Starfish also manages The Woodshed, a premiere recording studio based in the heart of Toronto.
Susan de Cartier is the founder and president of Starfish Entertainment. She formed Starfish Entertainment in 1995 and began to develop both the company and its roster. Now representing some of the best Canada has to offer, Susan has guided Blue Rodeo on to become one of the most successful bands in Canadian history, selling over four million albums worldwide to date. In 2018 she was inducted onto the Music Managers Honour Roll, awarded to recognize outstanding achievements and excellence in Canadian and International Artist Management.
Judith Coombe joined Starfish Entertainment in January 2000 and began her tenure with Starfish as the event coordinator for Blue Rodeo and The Jim Cuddy Band. Today, Jude also manages The Sadies and co-manages Elliott Brood, Suzie Ungerleider, Greg Keelor, Belle Starr and Skydiggers.
Starfish welcomed Danelle Schiele as a Management Associate in 2022.
